Peace Of Mind

Dark shadows linger in[beneath] my (worn) eyes.


Do you know days like these?
Where the sun whispers warmth and the breeze gossips about everything from the East?
Andallyouwanttodoiscurlup... and... diesomewheresafelikethis?

It's such an indescribable peace of mind.


Mornings come without(along.with) all these[of|my] lies.

Hold on, darlin', we're goin' for a ride...


Trickling tears line all these black and blues, as heartbeats race
through contusions and rocks lace the inside of avulsed skin.
It's all about the adrenaline, it's all about the save. The gravel
beneath your spiked feet and the rush of diving into a
minefield of pain. Rain a bit more; it'll wash away the blood on
these lacerated lips and shimmer the spark in these dark eyes.
Give me a little more, a few more bruises, and I
won't feel the blood seeping through my ribs.
