Anyone familiar with the guy and his show? Where does his Mum come from?

Only watched a few episodes, but I like the show.

Not too sure where she is from, but it is a real family show !!

Although it really reminds me of "The Kapoors" that BBC2 shows with the excellent Meera Syal as the Grandmother !

However, that boy well now man has real drive and focus, he started out at 14 !
