the heaviness of self-doubt
threatens to crush her soul
she longs to shake the insecurities
deeply planted long ago

she struggles to breathe
in this vacuum of expectations
loathing her humanity
she tries to hide her imperfections

looking outwardly
searching in others' eyes
for who she is, who she should be
masking truths with well dressed lies

discovery threatens her world
fear wakes her sleep
can she swim in the deception
or will she sink in the deep?

i've read it 5 times actually, and i really like it (that's a rare thing :P) so YAY!


but please, please PLEASE let us know what happens next (lol, don't bother if it's like, 5 years down the road :P) DOES she make up her mind and stick with it? what happens next?

oh, and if u've got any other gems like this, DO post :)

ps: i personally don't think that 'she' should look to others to find out who she is. girlfriend should look INside :)
