avator icon problem

well i want to put one of my own in and i check the yes and click the browse button and choose my pic off the desktop but no matter how small the pic is it always says that the pic is to big and it has to be45pixals by 45pixals when it is well below that anyone have any ideas?

it MUST be 45Ч45 265colors (.gif or .jpg)

it was thats why i don't get why it is say is is to big lol it what a jpeg and much smaller then 45pixal by45

If you have a picture editing program, like Photoshop or Paint Shop, you can adjust it to 45 X 45..

i tried doing that and it sayd that the jpg file was invalid or something like that, what does that mean?

iluvjulia84, Does it work before you adjust the size?

And are you taking your picture from a website, or is it located in your hardrive? (do you go to a webpage to see it or open it in a folder?)

I'm not too good when it comes to all those computer things. Well, i think it does work cuz i adjusted the size but it says that its invalid not that its too big. And the picture i took from a website and then i saved it.

aahh.. Ok.

Well some pictures tend to error after you change any attributes (sometimes they error on purpose, sometimes on accident).. I'd suggest finding another picture.

Try looking at Profile>Edit Options and scroll to the bottom and click Change Avatar. I don't know how many are left, they may be out, but these are already sized right and should work.
