umm, i wrote this a while ago (not done yet), but not sure to post it. i can't find an editor for my english is not good enough to do it myself. :eek: but i think i'm gonna give it a try. anyway, here it is. any comments would be appreciated.

the situations were very funny..
the whole thing with the bathroom stall and the panties and lena lying to her mom was very believable :)

"Fallen" is a movie with Denzel Washington. it's from 1995, i think. not sure though. maybe 1996. you should check it out. i am not gonna say anything more about it. and the way your fic starts it's similar to the way that movie starts. or maybe i am imagining things lol.
the red text colour is absolutely cool. it ain't bothering me. i don't think you should change it. it fits perfectly with the layout and the story :) keep it up!

havn't seen the movie yet, but will check it out. yeah, a lot of movies have non-linear narrative, which it happened to be the style i love. ^_^

rh2k, that's good interpretation....but, not what i hav in mind....i always get caught up in real/surreal things when i write....i know it's kindda confusing...and i promise that from now on, the story will be in linear narrative...cus i start to get confused myself.....and i hope the story would 'kindda' explain it to u later.....^_^

Uhaku, what an ENJOYMENT your story was/is! I like your style, it is so fresh and differs from stories Going Mad and Nothing in Between (I like those too!). I really liked those surreal parts too. Stories should not be always "easy reading", linear narrative, speedreading text. Don`t give up your style! And what a sense of humour your got! Iґm gonna be your fan now and forever!

Their longing for each other is touching, but with a twist of pain, makes you definitely wanna read more. This is not a predictable story, I'll tell ya now! Great writing!

PART 12:
the scenes are just so creative! yulia worked for at the opera? who knew! lena understanding it and translating it was brilliant- so touching.
OH, and irina and boris were siblings? i guess i didn't read too carefully b4 (NOT true!!!!)
now listen darling... one of the first scenes.. in the bathroom was classic. i loved the comedy. then the late phone call.. how fucking romantic was that?!? you could practically FEEL the sexual tension. oh, and most recently, their first kiss... how appropriate was that to take place as the applause went up?!
ur choice at creating those pivotal scenes are just brill! bring on some more memorable ones!

this IS a 'love story', just a deeper one.. a tragic one for sure, but i would also argue a phychotic one (for they have a pact to kill themselves).
to me, it's a story of giving urself for one thing only: love.
the story to me is more real than the one's i've read so far.
none of the fics here deal with the human condition obsessed with being in love; atleast to me.
romeo and juliet did it, and now our very own lena and julia do it :)
i've enjoyed it so much and i have so much faith in you as a brilliant writer that i'll keep my eyes peeled for ur pen-name 'uhaku' 10 years down the road :)
well done sweetheart, for ur fic so far has differed itself from the 'teenybopper' love story and has a more 'mature' theme to it (and i don't mean porn-like scenes) :P

Just read Part12. Incredible! Simply amazing... the scenes, the events, it's all really dramatic and by all rights should be cheesy as hell but it's not, it's just awesome.
I especially like how Yulia loves the opera. It gives her character a human edge, fleshes her out and makes her really likeable.

God that was so powerful...
This fanfic got me thinking - a lot of people are shy about posting their fics because their English isn't very good.
But I think uhaku and many other writers on this forum prove that good writing is not necessarily dependant on perfect grammer. And it's not just the creativity of the plot, but also the expressions that make all the difference. I can't believe how uhaku can write such powerful, stunning prose and draw up all that vivid imagery... far better than some of the professionally edited and published novels I've read recently.
Keep up the good work.

joined this fic late, but i find it truly powerful. i love the exchange of notes, also near the beginning (i read all 19 chapters just now!) when Lena sat next to Yulia and made some comment about, 'sorry i was fucking my bf' - that was really funny. althought i think the funniest part was when Lena crashed into the bus stop, i actually laughed out loud, my parents thought i was crazy! :p

Honestly, a broad range of story genre is always nice.
There are tons of different authors with different styles of writing, if you don't like tragic ones go find other stories to read. Authors aren't gonna adapt to you, and if you can't adapt to his/her style, go look elsewhere.
Besides, it's not like Uhaku's stories are centering around their death. Geez...it's just a plausible ending. To me, this story is very emotional, and loving. Nothing at all gloomy.
