Born in Adana in southern Turkey Kıvanç was recruited by a modeling agency after his mother sent them pictures of him. He competed and won the Best Model Of The World modeling pageant in 2002.Since then, he has worked as a professional model and actor.His dream was to be an athlete (Basketball player)
He is currently an extremely famous actor

Kıvanç 's latest project is Aşk-ı Memnu as Behlül Haznedar in a Turkish Romantic drama television series. It has been adapted from Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's novel Aşk-ı Memnu.
