the feeling of the album seems to be a soft rock
and from the looks of it
might be in english
i hope not :mad: lol
her voice is hard to listen to in english cant read out the lyrics in her voice
she should stick to russian
but because i still love her
ill dig it lol:)

I love her versions of The Show Must Go On and 18 Mne Uzhe. Irina's voice isn't amazing, but it's easy to recognize because it's so weird, so she could probably do really well if she got a team of good songwriters and publicists to help release a solo album.

Haha, that was a good one. Irina was a successful solo-singer in the late 90's (as 'Diana' with almost 10 albums - oh yes, that's about 20 years as a singer!!!) and had more than 6 years with Reflex (8 albums). I guess she terribly needs songwriters and publicists...:lol:

Well, to honour one of the really great people of Russia's showbiz, here some biographical notes about her:

Irina Nel'son was born on the 19th of April 19... eh-mh-something (let's quote my favourite blogger of paparazzi.ru - she's more than twice the age of all the other Reflex members) in Novosibirsk. Her career began 1991, when she participated at the contest Yalta '91, where the composer Vyacheslav Tyurin invited her to take part in his project "Elektroversiya" for an album with the title "Evening With Diana". With the stage name Diana she became a quite successful solo-singer with light and easy pop music. She released 7 albums (including one collection and a remix album).

1997 she left Russia all of a sudden and moved to Germany - burn-out syndrome. There she met a Swedish musician, cosmopolitan and buddhist, Andreas Nelson, whom she married. She began to occupy herself with eastern meditation, yoga and esoterism, which helped her get back her almost lost energies. In 1999 she left her husband and returned to Russia, with new strength and the concept of a new project - Reflex.

There she met her old friend Vyacheslav Tyurin again, and together they realised the new project. Needless to say, that she was the heart and soul of the project. At a beauty contest "Girl 2000" she met the young Kazakh Alyona Torganova who became her partner in the group for more than six years. During 2005 Irina more and more became aware that she's becoming too old for the project. Instead of letting die the project they decided to change the appearance of the group. First they chose a new lead singer for the group, Zhenya Malakhova, who got the chance to slowly fill her shoes. Almost a year together with Irina and Alyona she was fit to take the lead, Irina disappeared and a new girl from Irina's birthplace Novosibirsk, Nastya Studenikina completed the trio.

By the way, Malakhova's entry into the group is at least partly the 'guilt' of tatu. At their album presentation 2005 the group Reflex and Zhenya were present. Gossip-duck Yulya Volkova told Irina that Zhenya's contract with Viktor Drobysh has expired and Irina lost no time to hook the fish.

Now she's married with Vyacheslav Tyurin, has a fancy sound studio in Dubai and is co-owner of Reflexmusic, the publishing company of Reflex and other acts, including foreign projects. Besides her solo-project she is still connected to the girls of Reflex, wrote the lyrics for their hit "Chanel" for example, and seems to have her fingers in another girls' project, "Non stop". Shows, that Irina can't keep her fingers away from young and crisp vegetables. :gigi:
