The big media news today was the launch of Al-Jazeera English (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6149310.stm), that should shake the world of news channels a bit by offering a different angle on global events.

A couple of caps from my TV:

I've already had the Arabic version for years, but of course i don't understand a word. :p It's always nice to have a different point of view that i can actually understand.

Ooo... cool. I'll have to make a new search on my satellite tv so I can watch it. Hehe. I've had the old arabic version all the time too, but I haven't had any reason to watch it for more than 5 seconds, mostly because of the language. Hehehe.
