London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines &
I Write Sins Not Tragedies.

Well, I wonder why do the title of the songs are so longgggggg and they all do not appear in the lyrics... Unique, huh? About the MV, I like the "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" video.. it reminds me the movie of Moulin Rouge...... :D Can't wait to see their forthcoming concert. Just bought the ticket yesterday.... Yeah!!! But I'm probably going alone. :(

I dont know if I have a favourite video as they are all so different from each other. I love the costumes in I Write Sins, love the burlesque theme for But Its Better If You Do and with Lying Is The Most Fun I don't really understand the concept of the video but great song!!!!

Their song titles do have something to do with their songs. The titles are just very exitential. For Example, my favorite song, [b]London Beckoned Songs About Money Written by Machines, is about the usic industry's manufactured artists like Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears and all those stupid American Idols. More so the American Idols because they're essential manufacted by Simon and he's from England and the artists are the moneys. Further evidence can be found in the songs lyrics. "Well we're just a wet dream for the web zine, Make us it, make us hip, make us scene.

[/i]Just for the record, The weather today is slightly sarcastic with a good chance of: A. Indifference or B. Disinterest in what the critics say."[/i]

And this line is basically evidence of their distain for the mainstream music industry. They've really only become mainstream in the last couple of months. Otherwise they've been pretty undreground with only the true Emo kids knowing and loving them, not the scensters who've only recently found them when every major radio station started playing I write sins not tragedies

I didn't get it from anywhere. I just listened to the lyrics and I just know the general opinion of most bands signed to indie labels instead of major record labels. Plus, most true emo/hardcore/post-hardcore bands are against all things mainstream and manufactured.

But you really can figured out what the titles mean if you just pay attention to the lyrics and look a little deeper into them and not just take them at face value. I'll explain all of them to you later if you like, but I'm kind of sick right now and I'm going back to bed.

btw, my favourite song is there's a good reason these tables are numbered honey, you just haven't thought of it yet

first time I listened to Panic it was Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off and I said to myself that this song is crap ... then I tried to re-listen etc etc and I find the lyrics so funny and sarcastic and now I say that Panic rules !!
it's a good band for me, but it's only my opinion ;)

so I can understand why Rachel and Zero682 don't agree with the fact that they are talented and amazing :p

no i was at the front but at the side of the stage, the music just cut out and the next i saw him lying on the floor! he did a great show though

I'm going down to North Carolina for their show on November 10. My friend bought me a ticket, so now I just have to figure out how I'm going to get down there. Then I get to go see them again a couple days later in Lowell Mass :D I think they should make November the Offical Panic! at the Disco Month... :spy:

lol that's effing awesome. I'm only getting to see them twice because when they were in Providence earlier this year with The Academy is..., my friend bought the last ticket without telling me, so I couldn't go. This will definitely make up for it though.

Plus, while I'm down in N.C. my best friend will be stationed in Kentucky, she's leaving on the 1st of October, so I'm going to go visit her for the weekend after the show on Friday.

I saw them in a tiny little club in Glasgow before they got famous. I also met them at a signing. Kids had queued up all day to meet them and Brendon couldn't even be bothered to speak or even make eye contact with any of them. Ryan was the same.

I've met a lot of bands - many of them more talented and more famous that P!ATD. I've met a lot of bands whom I fully expected to be complete and utter conceited arseholes. But the overwhelming majority of them were friendly and humble.

Brendon Urie is still a teenager. He's a boy as far as I'm concerned and he has a lot to learn about life. He has no right to act snooty and aloof to his fans. Those kids had waited outside for hours that day just to meet him. The very least he could do was say "hello", make eye-contact, acknowledge their presence. He owed them at least that. But he thought he was too good for that. He acted like those kids - those kids who buy tickets to his shows, who buy his band's merch, who effectively pay his wages - weren't worth a second of his oh-so-precious time.
His behaviour that day was nothing short of disgusting.

I totally agree with you, but what can you do? Unfortunately most of those kids will still buy Panic! tickets, merch and albums... lol kind of like Tatu

so last night I went to Panic! concert
it was cool
at the beginning we were in front of the scene but people went crazy so we decided to go to the ladies room (in vain? lol) and we had a great view from there so it was ok
I tried to take some pics (all blurry it sucks) and we made a vid
they made 2 covers : Karma Police (radiohead) and Tonight tonight (the smashing pumpkins) and really it was BAD!!! and I said to my friend "who the hell they think they are to dare make covers of such great songs?"
sometimes I'm listening to a cover and I think "goooosh, it's 'better' than the original" so it's worth doing it but Panic's covers from last night ... naaah! just forget to sing these songs in the future
