Kristina Orbakayite - My Life (album)

Via Gra - Obmani no ostansya (re-formed and with new song - they got rid of the girl with the biggest breast and recruited yet another new group member..! :rolleyes: )

hmm, I opened a new playlist thread as the last one seems to be inaccesible. If I'm incorrect, can I ask one of the mods to move my post to the previous thread? Thanks.

I'd like to recommend a couple of pop albums I've been listening to lately:

1) Nathalie Cardone - Nathalie Cardone

This album was released in 1997 - if I'm not mistaken - and did well in the French charts.
It features the European hit Hasta Siempre ( a remake of the "Che Guevarra" song ).
Cardone is bilingual, so the album offers songs in both French and Spanish - and a bit of English too. The French songs are great - Mon Ange, in particular which reached number 2 hit in France - but the Spanish tracks are totally awesome. Music is written by Laurent Boutonnat ( of Mylene Farmer/Alizee fame ) He also directed most of Cardone's videos. In fact I think that Laurent with Cardone somehow bridges the gap between Mylene and Alizee. The track "Antonio" features words by the legendary gay poet Federico Garcia Lorca.

2) Alex Parks - Honesty

This is Alex's second album, released - in much less pomp that the previous one - in autumn 2005. It's a wonderful album, the production is superb and accentuates Alex's fantastic voice. The songs are a departure from what she's done before touching the sensibility of the best contemporary pop ( see Coldplay, Keane etc. ) but there's room for improvement in the furture. Alex has co-written all tracks. I've uploaded 2 tracks to check out, the ballad "Out of Touch" and the mid-tempo "Get Out"

A few days ago I imported all my music on my comp into media player for the first time (I usually just open single files) so I've been letting media player go through all my music, it has a total length of 277:46:41! :eek: That's over 11 days of continuous music! :eek: :eek: :eek:

I've got like... 3 gb of music, because I have no space left on my computer!
And that says alot seeing as my computer completely sucks, I can't even believe that I have a whole 3 gigabytes full of music, I wouldn't be surprised if my computer just gave up one day and stopped working. :laugh:

me rich? lol nope. many gbs of music doesnt make me rich just a musiclover, besides u can always burn it on dvds or cds.

Humm... my playlist says 200:13:39+ ... but I've only got 1/4 of my total amount of songs on my playlist. In total I've got about 8500 songs which sums up to about 55 gigs. :)

Listening to 'Dimmu Borgir' atm, but lately it's been mostly 'Kataklysm', 'Apoptygma Berzerk' and 'Manfred Mann's Earth Band'. But of course 't.A.T.u.' once in a while as well :D

I'm listening to the following albums:

The Gathering - Home ( I just got this on the post today - think it's actually better than Monsters - this is almost a pop album from them but brilliant nonetheless - Anneke is completely in her own league with this one )

Tool - 10.000 Days ( they're probably the best metal band out there at the moment but perhaps they can't be confined by being considered "metal" anymore; they should now be in the pantheon of the best rock bands of all time. )

System of A Down - Hypnotize ( pretty good but not as good as their previous albums )

Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam ( was not impressed much with that album but maybe it can grow on me - Riot's Act was probably better

Opeth - Ghost Reveries ( very well done but they sound a bit like Tool at times - only heavier - still very good music.

No the last time Kill Hannah played in Providence that I know of, I was 15 and wasn't allowed to go to shows. But I've heard from friends in Chicago that they are wicked awesome live... But let me know what you think of them. I trust your judgement better :p
